Yahoo when will you update the Linux client,,or have you abandoned it all together on Microsoft's demands?

   I think they realised projects like Pidgin are much better.

   Whether it is or not, it does look like the Linux client is abandoned. You would be better off looking into other clients such as Gaim/Pidgin, or Kopete. There’s also Meebo.com, for a web-based client too. And on top of that, Yahoo has integrated Yahoo Messenger into Yahoo Mail, so you can chat from your mail window.

   Like I said, they do seem to have abandoned their Linux client, but there’s better stuff out there to take it’s place.
