will there ever be another open source kernel like Linux?

   hmm. these are alternates.. like the minix kernel exists..
   but as to a replacement for linux… that may not be there for a while.. since once a movement gains traction, it has a whole lot of people working on it and getting them or new people to adopt a different untried OS is a bit of a stretch…
