LOL who said Microsoft bought Linux? You CAN’T buy something that’s open source.
You are one funny Guy, Linux can’t be bought unless it is a proprietary Linux distribution like Red Hat or one that is similar and these were created from open source and modified so they can be sold. And even Red Hat doesn’t own Linux. Linux is a Kernel not an operating system. The new Windows that will eventually be released is being designed and created with the help of MAC programmers and Microsoft hires the most MAC programmers than any other company. The new Windows probably will have a totally different name and not be called Windows at all. So in the light of this it will probably follow the lines of Unix and not Linux itself.
Lol, Linux is open source and Microsoft can never change that. You will not get charged for anything and depending on the flavor it will always be free for the user.
this is the stupidest thing i ever heard -.-
linux is not 1 OS like windows or mac
there are like literally thousands of different versions of linux made by thousands of different people. Its impossible to buy them all. Linux is free and open source, and always will be
To give you a better idea: http://www.linux.org/dist/list.html
