   More user friendly?

   Have you tried Ubuntu? You can run it from a live CD without installing it.

   It’s easy to use. It’s much easier to install than Windows also. Took me about 20 minutes with the latest version.

   It’s possible, especially if linux gets much easier to use and more easily available (and remains free of course).

   Well considering the next windows operating system is supposed to blow then no.
