Remember, competition is good for the consumers… both in terms of quality and price. In case they find a way to merge to create one common operating system you can be sure that the merged company would have all the powers to drive the price to whatever limits it would like to.
MONEY!
These company won’t merge because creating a perfect operating system will be a threat to earth. The perfect operating system may have an artificial intelligence of its own.By having a artificial intelligence of its own,it will not perform the task it is programmed but instead create an army of its own.See the movies terminator 3 and you know my answers will be like what it will happen.
