looks like linux is trademarked,t hats probably why, microsoft doesnt want problems
I believe coz most of the offices have their production servers based on Linux/Unix which are freeBSD and MS can’t beat the stability of linux/unix servers.
basically….Linux is open source & they belive in "Human knowledge belongs to world" and share it for free…….
where as Microsoft wants to make money from there softwares…..by sellling them…..they also give few things for free but they r small products….
thus the Pricipal of business is different in both caes….
did u get ur answer…..Hope you did.
thnks
Because it is a competitor to the Window operating system which threatens MS.
Linux is the competition
Micro$haft is beginning to realise what the rest of us already know, that Linux is superior.
LUg.
many already answered…
Linux is most virus free… Windows live on virus, spyware and crap..
Microsoft never stated they hated them, even though they are against each other in their own way. I believe it’s for copyright reasons.
I think its the same reason Apple hates Microsoft.
Oh yeah about that video, Microsoft didn’t ban Linux, u can’t name yourself Microsoft either from what I have heard its because of licensing and patent protection.
Poor old Microsoft has grown into a company that can’t learn to play nice with others in the sandbox. Rather than try to understand why more and more companies and individuals are going to Linux instead of poorly developed bloatware, (read Vista) they pull little kid stuff like this. You can almost see a couple of nerdy softies giggling over blocking linux as a password. They have evolved a sad paranoid corporate culture.
