Who else is excited about Mandriva linux 2009?

linux users r u excited, it will be the first kde 4.1 distro and they r one of the few linux distributions I like plus I heard that Cyber link may make a linux bluray player and that may be included in the Power Pack.
I didn’t know so many people liked Mandriva……lol

hmm i’ve only played with ubuntu and fedora.. but im gonna check this out now so i guess im excited too

I could care more but I cound’t care less.
No offense guys but linux is completely pointless unless your a programmer. I have NO problems with XP at all and very few problems with Vista (although I did wait over a year to try it).
I’ve tried linux and its ok but its soo much harder. Its like running a PC 15 ears ago. The only way I will seriously use Linux is when someone gets MacOSX running relaibly on it. I want Final Cut Studio on a PC and I would put up with just about anything including building a dedicated system to have that.
It will be interesting.
Yep- Be nice to give it a drive around the block. Mandriva Spring has been high on my list of fav distros. K4.1 should be quiting down any negative responses. A Linux BluRay setup would be nice… being as I would rather use Linux than feed the DRM crowd using Vista.

I can’t wait for that either. I keep having package problems with 2008.
I downloaded Spring, got 2008.0.
And then it kept installing 2008.1 packages,
which wouldn’t let me do a lot.
