Which Linux application has the best shot of working with my ATI Video Capture device?

I’ve just bought Linspire and installed it on one of my computers.
I have another computer that has an ATI video capture device. Is there a Linux application I can download that would be compatible with this device?
The device goes straight to Windows Movie Maker, with no problem. What’s the Linux equivilent?

Try MythDora. It’s a fedora distro with Mythtv prepackaged with it.

Mythtv is the linux equivalent of Windows Media Center. Pause live tv and all that.
