Linux reviews applications open source from SUSE Mandrake Mandriva Centos Redhat Debian and more
Hi,
I’ve never use ymessenger for Linux before but you can go to: http://messenger.yahoo.com/unix.php
It seems that there’s only Redhat 9 (which is very old) and Debian installer. If you’re using it on a modern Linux distro, i recommend you using Pidgin (http://pidgin.im). Pidgin supports multi-protocol Instant messenger, such as MSN, AOL, and Yahoo.
Usually your Linux distro will come with a package management like yum, or apt.
You can do: ‘yum install pidgin’, or ‘apt-get install pidgin’ — refer to your Linux distro for more information about using the package management.
