How about trying Fedora Core 10? I think that just came out a couple of months ago. Install ndisgtk and then run it: http://dag.wieers.com/rpm/packages/ndisgtk/ When you've run it, install the .inf file that came with the Windows driver. Fedora Core 1 is way old.
