I am running Fedora Core 1 on my laptop and would like to use my Microsoft mn-720 adapter to access the internet, but don’t know where to find drivers for it.

Fedora Core 1 is way old.
How about trying Fedora Core 10? I think that just came out a couple of months ago.
Install ndisgtk and then run it:

When you’ve run it, install the .inf file that came with the Windows driver.
