whats a good linux os for hacking and was the best laptop hardware for hacking are macs good?

i want to get into hack puting virus in friends networks hacking psps and hacking into devices etc. also hackig wireless networks. now to do this i need to now what the best linux os to do this also my friends told me macs (hardwere not the mac os) are the best in hacking.
also i have had a lot of xp in building computers creating curcits ect.

Mac hardware?
Intel processors, Asus motherboards, Seagate hard drives… Sounds like PC hardware to me.
Nothing inside a Mac is even made by Apple
