Ubuntu and Redhat are both Linux. The differences between the two is mainly the way they install, maintain and upgrade packages. Some People prefer one over the other, but it is really just personal preference
Well Ubuntu is just like Linux (made by linux) and redhat i have never heard of it.
Both Ubuntu and Redhat are versions of Linux. There will be minor differences, but to be called Linux they must adhere to the Linux Standard.
