Hi, opensuse is a community project sponsored by Novell, and it is the foundation for SLED which is Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop. OpenSUSE is mainly aimed at home use and u can buy support for that as well. SLED is manly aimed for companies but home users may buy and use the desktop version.
