Linux is harder to use, more secure, and you can’t use .exes.
Linux however, is great, tbh it is more hacker friendly which means that it is better for people who make codes to use Linux,
Linux is a freely distributable ($0.00) Unix clone built by a loose association of volunteers and contributing companies, with a software license that allows anyone to make and even sell copies without breaking copyright law.
Windows is none of the above.
First off, let’s get the nomenclature straight. I believe you wish to compare the Operating Systems of Linux and Windows.
Windows, of course is made by Microsoft, while the original concept of Linux was initiated by Linus Torvalds.

The System Kernels, I believe, should be the choice of the first comparison. They differ like Night and Day.
