What is the best way to eliminate OS Linux 9.2 from my PC and install MS WINDOWS XP instead?

I Just bought a new PC that has as OS Linpus Linux 9.2, this is a software I am not familiar with, so I want to eliminate it from my PC and install WINDOWS XP instead. I do not know how to do it. PLease I ask for help

boot from a WinXP cd then install WinXP.
windows will not recognize the linux format. Use fdisk and delete the non windows partition. Then setup new partition, format and install windows.. Scary for some but not really hard to do..
