When something is Open Source, this means that anyone can view and change the source code. Soruce code is the programming code that is used to create a program or operating system.
However, just because something is open source, this doesn’t mean you have to look at the source or even that you need to understand programming. It just means the option is there.
Open source means that the actual programming code used to make the software is available to you free of charge so that.. if you know how.. you can modify it anyway you wish.Open source software costs nothing it’s free.. closed source software is not free, and the programming code that makes it is hidden
Sourcecode is code in a certain programming language, for example C++.
OpenSource – Allows people to download and edit it as they please. Most open source Operating systems are free.
Closed Source – Doesn’t allow you to see the sourcecode
open sources ad ting files and directory
