What are some plants that Friar Lawrence from Romeo & Juliet might know about? I have botox and mandrakes…?

Some examples I think are poisonous plants that have healing properties, knock-out potions, and anything else you can think of. I tried searching for them but nothing works.

Well, Botox is not from a plant at all – its actually just a very weak strain of botulinum toxin (that’s right, the stuff that gives you botulism!). Doesn’t come from a plant. Try hawthorne berries, belladonna, wormwood (absinthe ingredient), dragon’s blood, nettle, and all varieties of poisonous mushrooms. Hope that helps.
I haven’t a clue why you’re asking this question, but something you may want to consider is that Friar Lawrence stands largely for balance and natural order. His speech in Act II scene III demonstrates this. Shakespeare reserves the darker pharmaceutical arts for the apothecary Romeo visits near the end of the play. Laurence is all about love, health, and beauty. His well intentioned sleeping potion was perverted. The cause of this mishap is up for grabs. Some feel it is chance, others, a necessary moral punishment for the hot blooded, sinful behavior of Verona’s citizens.
