   They are roots related to the potato. They carry very strong magic and can be used for many things. Protection, aphrodisiacs and so on. Directions must be followed carefully or poisoning could occur.

    The mandrake of the Bible is a low plant with a root similar to a turnip. It ripens in Israel during the late spring and has a yellow berry somewhat like a small apple. In ancient times the fruit was used in medicine as a narcotic and antispasmodic.     A plant whose roots look like a human. Supposedly you are suppose to handle them carefully. Cause they look like a human? Idk Besides being poisonous.

    mandrake was a plant that was thought to help women who were not able to have children. It was believed to make her to conceive if she was barren.

    This should be in mythology but mandrakes are babies with leaves growing out of the top of their heads. They have a very loud scream that can knock you out for hours so you have to wear ear muffs to muffle the sound and make sure the ear muffs are on properly. They are used to revive people who are petrified.
