what application for linux ubuntu do i use for my 3rd gen ipod shuffle?

I dont have linux yet but im seriously considering cleanin my hard drive and puttin linux on it (for the 5th time)….but i always go back to windows because i cant use my ipod with it…..and im not dual booting…..soo what application will work with the new shuffle that has voiceover????

you could try gtkpod, its in your repo’s

ubuntu 9.10 should definitely have everything set up for you, although ubuntu’s had this for quite a bit.
you can use amarok, songbird (altho there will be no more newer linux versions), or rhythmbox
amarok I believe is included by default on ubuntu (that or rhythm box but.. they both work).
