what type of tree is this?
its like big and gnarly but it has leaves, and its roots like are above the ground, or some of them are. I swear I saw a picture of them on the coast of somewhere, like new zealand i think, but im not sure.
they look really cool and they are really big?? for some reason i thought of mandrake tree, but thats not real… hehe. so what is it?

Mangrooves, Pandanus or Ficus trees have the same description you have mentioned. Especially the Ficus bengalensis has the long aerial roots which come from the top of the tree. They are supporting roots.
