How do i connect to xbox live through linux mint os?
I had windows vista and it worked perfectly on that, i decided to change my os to linux and im having trouble connecting to live, i have a Ethernet cable connected to the pc from my 360, the pc has built-in wifi which is connected to a router. how do i set up linux to allow a connection from the 360.

I have a router that connects 3 computers by a cable, then I have 3 laptops that also connect to the router wireless. I don’t have a central server. The router is Linksys.

There are no windows users in this workgroup.
5 of the computers use Opensuse 11.1, the other computer uses Opensuse 11.0. All of these machines use KDE 4.2
I want to be allow the computers to share printers and files allow users to access each others’ data.

I used the net inst cd. I can install it again no problem, and change all the settings for network, which are proably wrong anyway.
Here are the details:
I can connect to the router using a usb, if there is a way to configure that in debian, that would be very helpful, please note i only have the basics of debian just now – command line…
Wireless is improbable just now, at least until i get connected using the usb. The answer which succeeds will get the top rating (in order of when posted if more than one) :)
This is irrelevant because connection to all wireless routers are generally the same, but it is a SpeedTouch 780WL, i have disabled encryption (so i can connect to it with debian)…

Ok i need a linux os that i can boot on my computer from my flash drive. I need one that can connect to my dsl on my downstairs comp through a linksys wireless adapter. Ive tried knoppix i couldn't get a signal, i tried unbuntu but it just leaves me at a huge comman prompt with nothing to enter in it. I'm about to try DSL linux. I've only tried these. Oh andi don't know what wireless card i have if any and i have a westell modem and a wireless g router on the one with dsl. Oh and the one running dsl is windows xp
