It say that the flash is installed but when I try to play videos on youtube, It says that the java script is turned off or get the latest flash palyer. I was able to watch video before on my Linux machine, but when my sister used it, after that i could not view flash.

when we install a rpm into a linux machine, some times it’ll ask for dependancies. so how can we make a software which is free of these dependancies??

I am using RedHat via VMware software.
Please assist me… I need to install oracle on my linux machine asap.

I think I need to FTP the file or load it using linux.. please assist me..

give me the detailed steps to see the all the ports that are in use in my SUSE Linux machine.

Ive tried tarballs and the executable ones, forgot the name of the extention.
None of them seem to install correctly, i always am missing a dependency or somthing.
What might I be doing wrong? I'm running in root. I just clean installed the OS, shouldn't it come with a method to install software?

Could you walk me through an installation that has worked on your SUSE linux machine?
