I am using an IBM Thinkpad laptop with a Linksys 2.4GHZ Wireless-G Notebook Adapter.

I need help setting up a Secure FTP Server on Linux SUSE 11. Does anyone have a walkthrough or anything that could help me through the process? I want to make sure I get it right. Thanks!

iam very interested in working with suse linux latest version&fedora latest version but i have no much bandwidth to download the linux os so offer me any Email id’s for recieving these linux (i.e),fedora latest version or suse latest version by postal or courier with free of cost…..
please help me!…….and give suitable remedy for it.Iam awaiting for the idea it’s urgent….please!

Do I just need to simply download Wine, and then stick the disk in, selected "setup.exe" and away I go like a standard Windows installation or will there be more to it than that?

What can I do to bypass the admin. login page when Suse Linux 10.1 boots up? I didn’t set it up to ask for a login name and password but it does that everytime it boots up. How do I fix it or go around it?

I got into the oracle download site, and i found oracle 10g download links for linux x86. what is this linux x86?? what is the difference between the Suse Linux Enterprise Edition 10.1 and linux x86. can i install my oracle 10g in Suse Linux Enterprise Edition 10.1?? guide me and give me some links for to download the oracle 10g…

I have a 80gb hd with win xp on it and i tried installing suse linux the i cancled…it shrunk my windows partition to 33gb and made its own partion… but it only shows 33g hd in windows now…how do i gt it back wihout reinstalling windows i need 80gb back…it list other volumes on drive in device manager but they are uneccelsible, only 33gb with windows is accesible… it is one hd

I have just installed SuSE Linux on my computer along side Windows XP and Windows Vista. Everything works great except for my wireless internet. I have configured my wireless card (Linksys WMP54G) with ndiswrapper and I can finally see all of the local wireless networks. I clicked on linksys (my wireless network) and it gets to 57% and then it hangs and disconnects. I have tried manually entering the IP address and Subnet Mask from the Windows XP part of my computer and it connected, but I could not access the internet. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I am currently installing SUSE Linux over an internet connection via one CD with the mini ISO copied onto it. People were very kind to help me figure out why it wasn’t working so well on another question, but this question regards installation repositories. Can you suggest a good site for it to contact to get the information? I need the full http address, as well as the IP address. Thank you in advance for the tech help! I just upgraded to Suse Linux 10.2 & now my system is telling me to free up some memory. I”m a newbie with Suse Linux so I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. It shows I have another partition of 70 GB of memory but I don’t know how to utilize it. Please help.

How do I install bittorrent in Suse Linux? I have installed it in the Package Selector but can’t find it. Also, where does it store the files it downloads (bittorrent).
