i have a SuSe linux box at work, Yast does updates and stuff over the internet, but when i try to install programs from Yast, it asks for the CDs, I do not have the CDs, is there any way I can get it to install new programs from the internet repositories? my Fedora box installs all new programs from the internet

SuSE Linux is a paying software.
the only way to get proper support and software add-ons is to register the workstation with Novell.
you may try to add repositories from opneSUSE
( http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories )
but SuSE (paying SW) may not accept repositories from openSUSE (free SW)
if you use this software at work, you should have a paid license and be able either to ask your IT support or call upon SuSE / Novell support.
