Im testing linux suse in virtual box. Im normaly a die hard windows user and am more than halfway through a networking program centered arround microsoft. Im a brand new user in a linux environment however and id like to know what to expect when installing drivers. Im also having a hard time (a very hard time) connecting to my home network which is windows based. I need some pointers. Please give me some pointers. Spanks

Well truly Suse linux and I st uippose you mean Opensuse is a beautiful linux but it is not for beginners not that is is that problematic but INSANE USA laws strickly limit the integration proprietary software in opensouce technology. IF it is an American who created the concept of opensource the USA ain’t no paradise for opensource.
Opensuse comes with many apps and to me the Gnome interface is a true success truly beautiful.
If you are are not on a laptop but on a desktop it should work properly but you will need a good VIDEO card to have adequate support. why? beats me but cheap video cards and you screen will flicker.
If you like Suse you may go for their commercial product with all the updates and improved open office SUSE LINUX DESKTOP from Novell.
Once again a great linux but not that complicated still not for beginners. Also get a good video card.
If you want linux t owrk right from the box consider MANDRIVA POWER PACK cost about 100$ the same as Suse linux but well worht it.
