is their any story’s/myths about plant babies like Mandrake that are grown and pulled up or bloom from a flower. or a human that are cursed and become a plant/flower. any myth or story you read form a book or on line or heard will help. it doesn’t have to be a real myth it can be from a story from a novel. thank you for you time.

Check out the story of Echo and Narcisuss, also look into dryads, which are like nymphs for trees. I’m sure there are stories in other cultures too, look beyond the greeks.
Mandrake is a real root and it is just that a root, I am a witch and no it doesn’t scream and no i have not heard any myths of that outside of harry potter, real witchcraft is nothing like that book/movie series so i don’t suggest you put much stock in it.
idk but they mention them in hp. idk wat book though
Look into greek/roman myths, there is a story of a maiden that turned into a tree when she was pursued by a very persistent man.
i read once that mandrake was highly coveted by people for spells. however, if you pulled it out of the ground and heard it scream you would die so people would put something in the ears. i can’t remember the book, it may have been a childcraft series book but then the death aspect seems to harsh for a childcraft series book
i think mandrakes were prized by witches
