Spiritually smelling, doncha just love the smell of mandrakes in the morning ?

I came upon this passage today on accident, or so I thought….what are your thoughts on the signicant aromas at work here?

"The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits , new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved." Song of Solomon 7:13

I just love the spiritual sense of this aroma……But what does this really mean ?

I also love the mention made of things both New and Old….that has been laid up for thee beloved !

Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is a householder, which brings forth out of his treasure things new and old. Matthew 13:52

Is the mention of "all manner of pleasant fruits" in the Song of Songs speaking of the Precious Fruit which the Spirit is bringing forth in His Precious people ?

Lastly, " Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain." James 5:7

Doo Dah Doo Dah ….. I dont mean to be a "basket case"….But wasn’t baby Moses rescued by a basket case ?
