Once i download mandriva linux cd and extract it, what do i do next?

i wanna know how to install the operating system
ok i know i neeed to write it as an iso image on the cd but when i downloaded the file from mandriva.com and extracted it with WINRAR i got like 5 files the biggest one is like 687mb and its called distrib.sqfs, not iso
so i dont know if i should convert it or..

Linux distributions such as Mandriva are often provided for download as ISO files (have the extension .iso). These files are simply precise images of the bootable CD you would use to install Mandriva.
Most modern CD burning programs will allow you to burn a CD using only an ISO file. If your program can’t (check its instructions on how to burn an "ISO" or a "CD Image"), you can download one of the many programs listed on the included Wikipedia listing page.
I believe I have used CDBurnerXP in the past and was quite pleased.
