Mandrake Roots, Lego Harry Potter?

How do you get them to stop crying? I finished the level where the teacher gives you the lesson but now I can’t remember what to do. Please help!

There should be a wardrobe somewhere in the room with a glowing circle on the floor in front of it. Go inside and you’ll come out wearing earmuffs. Now you can walk up the mandrake and pick it up. To make it stop screaming, place it in a pot that should have an arrow over it to indicate.
