I think Linux will be around for a long time. Linux might have to look over it’s shoulder when Chrome OS comes out. But as long as Linux is open source it’ll stick around.
I love having Linux installed on a USB drive I can just boot off any computer and got my own OS running with my settings etc. I also use it to get access to files on windows if windows is dead.
Linux on a USB drive is a must have for me.
