   You can use WINE to run Windows programs in Linux. However, not all Windows programs are guaranteed to run under it.

   No, linux is based on open source programs…so no. What type of program are you trying to use?

   no flavors that i know of but there is a linux program that is supposed to be able to run windows programs called "wine".
