Is there a program similar to Adobe (Macromedia) Flash on Linux ?
I like GIMP (the photoshop- like application on linux), Is there a flash-like one ?

Go to a webpage that has Flash content
For example

In the top right hand corner you will be prompted to install the Flash plugin.
Click on that and there will be several options. Select the Adobe option then enter your password and the installer will take care of the rest.
Once Flash is installed restart Firefox.

Flash is available for Linux. If using Ubuntu, you can get that and more via terminal…type in ‘sudo aptitude install ubuntu-restricted-extras’ (without the quotes, and after updating via update manager).
Otherwise, check your repository for flash.
An opensource alternative called Gnash is also available.
I think he wants something for Flash development, not Flash Player.
