Linux reviews applications open source from SUSE Mandrake Mandriva Centos Redhat Debian and more
Yes. It has a choice of two main graphical user interfaces and many graphical user interface tools and applications for various purposes. Compared to other Linux distributions, it is probably one of the most GUI-oriented ones available.
Indeed and it uses a beautiful personalized version of GNOME as its standard interface but KDE is also available.
no
by nature and design, the GUI is always optional in Linux / GNU
SuSE has chosen to develop its own "distribution" over 15 years ago based on a small academic distribution whose author eventually joined SuSE
many newer distribution borrow the open source code from Debian or Fedora to put a customized user interface on top of it.
openSUSE has also a very broad and committed community that provides ports of many (open source) programs and participate actively in the development of KDE & Gnome.
