Redhat 9 and before, yes, but not afterward like with the Redhat Enterprise WS. http://www.redhat.com/rhel/details/clients/
However, you can do so with their http://fedora.redhat.com product.
No that is not a open software for linux. But Ubuntu is. You could get it for free at ubuntu.com..they could send you teh CD for Free or you could downlaod it.
