is liveusb-creator the best way to create a boot linux OS?

If you want to run Fedora or some other Red Hat derivative then it looks like an easy way to create a boot linux OS. The thing is, for some of us Linux is about choices, which means learning about things and deciding on alternatives. If you go to

you will find lots of tutorials for installing any distribution of Linux you want on your pen drive. Thus they will provide you with choices. Wouldn’t you rather have that?
You can download and burn a LiveCD called GUF linux. In it’s menus are programs to install bootable linux to 2, 4 and 8 GB thumb drives. I don’t know anything about liveusb-creator.
