Linux is for geeks, Windows is for lemings, and Macintosh OS is for people who want to get things done.
Not necessarily just for geeks. A few of my friends are using it and they don't qualify as geek at all. All I had to do was find them something stable and explain the basics, like how to install software from the repositories.
I even installed it on my mom's laptop and she is a techtard, literally. She's been using Windows since 3.11 and went from XP Home to Ubuntu. She doesn't have any problems with it and doesn't ask as many questions as she did with XP.
if it were for geeks I would never be able to use linux mint or any other linux
