If your computer came pre-loaded with Ubuntu would you still pay for Windows?
For those who dont know, Ubuntu is a free and open source Linux OS. It does pretty much everything windows does, has comparable software, (office, graphic editing, etc), and Is just as pretty, if not more. Also lets assume that if computers came pre-loaded with Ubuntu, that modern games were made for it. (sims3, modern warfare, etc.)
Would you still pay for windows??

If games were made for Linux operating systems, and it had much more hardware support, I would not pay for Windows.
Even if I had to relearn how to use my computer with a new operating system.
I’ve had to use a Ubuntu live cd to fix a few things I messed up on my laptop, and it looked pretty nice.
Hello,
no I would not.
Ubuntu is now a good operating system and has support groups set up to help us.
Also a computer made for Ubuntu may not have Windows support for some of it’s components.
