I cant install windows xp, after install Redhat Linux?

I was using windows xp,by this time i installed Redhat Linux. My xp has become corrupted, as i tried to install xp again, it shows "press any key to boot from cd…" when i press any key it appears a black screen.and my installation part does not start… what should i do. my mother board is ECS intel chipset.

I would suspect a bad optical drive or loose cable.
I assume you did wait for a few minutes in case the drive had trouble reading the cd; dirty or scratched cd.
Good luck
Wipe the drive and start over.
Install Windows first since it’s boot loader isn’t very smart.
Then install Linux since grub can also start Windows. I have configured many different machines with XP and Ubuntu and had no problems.
