I tried to install mandriva linux on my pc, and it doesn’t finish starting up. and it freezes. But when i install it on my old pc it works fine. then i thought it might be the processors. my new pc is a amd, and my old pc is intel. is there a mandriva one linux for amd processors?

No. That doesn’t matter. At least I hope so for your sake
It probably is something else though – like a sata drive etc. As it is a PC you could try unplugging anything unnecessary including USB devices until the install is finished
some distros simply wont work out the box on some hardware and even then it will work better on some machines then others best thing to do is try different distros till you find one well suited to your hardware
