How to send a file-oracle setup which is stored in my windows xp desktop,to a location in Linux RedHat.?

I am using RedHat via VMware software.
Please assist me… I need to install oracle on my linux machine asap.

I think I need to FTP the file or load it using linux.. please assist me..
