How to remove preloaded software from EEE PC 900 (Linux – Debian)?

I received an Asus EEE PC 900 as a gift. It came with a bunch of games and "learning" software. I’m just wondering how to get rid of it. A fairly detailed response would be appreciated. I’m new to Linux.

I understand that you just want to remove some linux programs, not all of linux.
You should have a program in your main menu called synaptic. You can use it to install and remove programs. In fact you should always use synaptic until you are well acquainted with linux.
Below is a link to a howto for synaptic. It is written for ubuntu but works the same way with xandros, (which is what I believe the eee pc has).
THe other link is some tips on getting the most out of the eee pc.
Hope this helps.
