i ve already the kernel asdlPPe
the kernels are the same to ubuntu and debian?

you need to check the version numbers, otherwise you may set up conflicts and make the system unstable. You are better using a modem or router with a network card connection, USB is never as fast and is a serious additional load on the machine. a router also adds another layer of firewall.
