HOW TO LOCK A FOLDER IN A PC AS WELL AS IN A REMOVABLE HARD DRIVE, ON LINUX REDHAT-5 O.S.?

I have a laptop running with LINUX REDHAT-5. I am also a computer learner. I am unable to lock a particuilar folder in my HDD so also in my PEN DRIVE. Please help me.

You can not lock a particular folder in LINUX. If you want to protect the folder you can set the permission of that folder as your choice. But you want to lock a file then use the command "crypt".
try useing a folder locker
