How to install windows media player for mandriva linux???

People tell there are no windows media player for mandriva linux!

This is applicable only for windows. There is no WMP for any Linux distro.
You need to have an emulation layer or a virtual machine.
Qemu, Qemu+KQemu, KVM+Qemu, Xen, VirtualBox, and VMWare are for virtual machines.
Win4Lin, Qemu, CrosoverOffice and Wine are for emulation layers.
There is a how to for Fedora Core 6 in the unofficial FAQ but that only works for embedded players.
Try Qemu + KQemu and create a small disc- 5 GB- to install XP on.
Up to windows media player 9 works with Wine for most versions of Linux. I would suggest amorok though if you are using linux. Or get VLC player.
