How to install Real Player 11 on open suse Linux 11.1?

I have downloaded both the DEB and RPM files from http://real.com/realplayer/linux.
When I try to open the DEB file, Ark says "No Archive loaded"
When I try to open the RPM file, the message "package realplay-11.0.2.1744-1.i386 is already installed" is being displayed.
How do I get to install it?

realplayer is not supported, maintained or developed anymore for linux systems, it was last released in 2008 as realplayer v11,
realplayer is closed source
realplayer uses helix player for its base (helix is open source) and helix is still maintained by the linux community,
best bet is search for helix in your software manager and enable it – if its there
pbone indicates there is no rpm for suse
http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3?stat=3&search=HelixPlayer&srodzaj=3
(oh – suse does not use .deb packages, it uses rpm’s through yast)
Open the package management program and type in Real Player in the search box, if it is part of the repository it will display it and you install it from there. I don’t know how to use console commands, so I never down load files from the Internet and try to install them. There really isn’t a reason to do this unless it is not in the software repository of what ever Linux I decide to use. For some reason people always try to install Linux software the hard way.
