How to install JAWA WEB START in LINUX?
I want to install Jawaws for my PC in which i’m using Linux (Fedora) OS
All the websites points to a file called "jre-6u21-linux-i586-rpm.bin" which should be run to complete the installation.
I downloaded the file and then right click on it–> open with other application –> Software installer
But it says that No packages or installer
What to do??
I don’t want wikipedia’s link about Fedora. I want to install that software… That’s it

You use the Linux Sottware Management program to install software. In the search type java and it should list what is available. The file you want to install should have the extension .rpm not .bin
Fedora 13 has full support for for the entire Java EE 6 spec in Netbeans 6.8
I like Fedora, I used 10/11/12 and then went back to BSD.
Look at the Fedora Forums or irc.fedora
