how to install applications on linux based system, without an internet connection?

If you could tell me what linux distro you are using . If you are using Ubuntu or Debian try searching .deb files . For example if you want vlc player search vlc.deb download with some pc put on a pen drive copy to linux pc and double click to to install
copy the files to a disk or usb device or external hard drive
install on your system that has no internet connection
You should google and type ‘xxx standalone’. For example, ‘Mozilla Firefox Standalone’. Standalone means that a full offline installer that can launch an installation without getting files from Internet.
