i have installed an rpm to mount ntfs file system on linux.
But still i m unable mount ntfs file system. I heard that it may work fine if we reinstall those rpms. How to reinstall those rpms ?
i m using a P4 system. Hence i install the kernel-ntfs-2.4.20-9.i686.rpm file. But i ve installed some rpms of lower versions before this. Does it affect the new rpm ?

You use the rpm command to install/uninstall and update rpm’s. I doubt reinstalling is going to help you, there is some configutation needed to make it work on both NT and Linux side. Without knowing what software you are using to mount a ntfs makes it difficult to help you. Feel free to email me if you like.
