How to install a vlc player in redhat linux enterprise 4?

I had downloaded the file but it ends with ‘.bin’…. please suggest how to install that .bin file….

Red hat is not the most friendly for "entertainment" applications. Here are some links to help you install vlc. Be sure you get all the codecs or it might not play all types of files.
